Our Story

3 Years in growing our own organic cacao farm.

Chocolotus started as an independent farmer in the island of Panay in Ibajay, where thick greens of mountains are unspoilt. Our farm is also surrounded with free flowing fresh river water from the highlands of Ibajay mountains. We have a humble beginning where local farmers became families, provided more livelihood and sustainable income.

In year 2015, we planted roughly 45,000 cacao trees in one piece of land, an assurance to provide "single origin" organic cacao produce. By the year of 2017, we expanded in planting more cacao trees through our partnership program with local farmers all over the Panay Region. Working alongside, we achieved to plant roughly 350 hectares of cacao seedlings.

Chocolotus has then grown like the lotus of a cacao flower. We are now the biggest processing center of cacao in the region through the continuous hand-in-hand work with our partner  local partners to bring you one of the best quality of cacao beans.

Through then, Chocolotus has widen it's wings on cacao products from selling organic fermented and sun dried cacao beans to having more end products into everyone's table, such as cacao nibs variations, artisan dark chocolates, cacao spread and  the very well known traditional Filipino tablea or sikwate, made from pure cacao liquor from cacao beans as pure and dark chocolate drink, also being used for chocolatiers..etc.

It is you who inspires Chocolotus to keep serving you a healthier chocolate experience! If you love cacao as much as we do..
